About Us


The Nature Consortium is a grassroots, community-based organization whose mission is to teach environmental lessons through the creative arts and hands-on conservation projects. We produce a Youth Art Program, an Urban Forest Restoration Project and the Arts~in~Nature Festival.

Join the Nature Consortium Board of Trustees!

We are looking to expand our Board of Trustees and specifically looking for individuals who have an interest in the environment and/or the arts and skill sets in one of the following areas:

  • Finance (our Board Treasurer will be retiring in early 2008) – work with ED on budgeting, financial reporting, etc.
  • Technology
  • Marketing/Outreach
  • Fundraising
  • Legal – review contracts, provide advice/guidance
  • General enthusiasm about the arts and the environment!

Our Board of Trustees meets bi-monthly for 1.5 hours, usually on a Thursday or Friday, during business hours. This day and time may change as the composition of our board changes.
